Well, I am officially in my third trimester, I'm 28 weeks 1 day today! I do wish time would slow down though, sheesh, this pregnancy is just whizzing by me! 12 weeks left, oh. my. goodness! It honestly feels like we JUST found out we were expecting this new bundle too, and here I am, already in my third trimester! I had my 28 week check-up today too, and just like at my last appt at 24 weeks, I'm measuring two weeks bigger. This has me thinking "yikes, how big is this baby already and how much bigger will it get in the next 12 weeks?" Needless to say, I am nervous!
With Trinity, I had an ultrasound done when I was 33 weeks, and the tech told me then that she was already 5 lbs... so if I'm measuring two weeks bigger, that would put me at 30 weeks, and this baby could already be about 3 or 4 lbs! Oh dear me... Lord, please help me! The doctor figured there was still plenty of time for my weeks to catch up with my measurements, and I sure hope so!
Other than that, this pregnancy has been textbook. Everything has been progressing smoothly and normally, and I'm so thankful for that! I only pray it continues!
15 weeks!
20 weeks!
24 weeks!
28 weeks!
I have my first appointment in Barrhead (where I'll be delivering this baby) in two weeks! I can't believe it's already that time, like I said, this pregnancy is just flying by at way too fast a pace! But I try not to take this all for granted, we have been blessed twice now with no trouble conceiving naturally. I know all too well the reality of how hard it can be for some women to have their own children naturally, whether it be trouble with conception, or having to deal with pregnancy loss. God has blessed me and my hubby tremendously with two healthy pregnancies and I'll be forever thankful!
Soon, I'll get to hold this new little bundle in my arms, and I'm getting soo excited and eager! What a blessing from the Lord!

Hey Amanda,
ReplyDeleteCould it be extra fluid that is causing you to measure two weeks further? Maybe extra weight gain???? I hope not extra weight gain, cuz no woman ever wants that! I really hope that there is just a lot of extra fluid for your sake! Ask to get an ultrasound done closer to your due date to determine the approx. weight of your baby. Keep the posts comin though! I love reading Blogs!
It's not extra weight gain, that I know! I don't know why I'm measuring bigger, but I guess a lot of women do! :D
ReplyDeleteI am glad that it's not extra weight gain, cuz that can be a pain to get rid of, and who knows, you just may have a bigger baby than what Trin was. My doc said that with each pregnancy they just get bigger, which, I am scared for cuz Mak was already 9lbs and 6oz. Hang in there Amanda! I know you can do this, and oh, don't forget to ask for drugs!
ReplyDeleteAlways drugs!!! lol
