Well, I am officially in my third trimester, I'm 28 weeks 1 day today! I do wish time would slow down though, sheesh, this pregnancy is just whizzing by me! 12 weeks left, oh. my. goodness! It honestly feels like we JUST found out we were expecting this new bundle too, and here I am, already in my third trimester! I had my 28 week check-up today too, and just like at my last appt at 24 weeks, I'm measuring two weeks bigger. This has me thinking "yikes, how big is this baby already and how much bigger will it get in the next 12 weeks?" Needless to say, I am nervous!
With Trinity, I had an ultrasound done when I was 33 weeks, and the tech told me then that she was already 5 lbs... so if I'm measuring two weeks bigger, that would put me at 30 weeks, and this baby could already be about 3 or 4 lbs! Oh dear me... Lord, please help me! The doctor figured there was still plenty of time for my weeks to catch up with my measurements, and I sure hope so!
Other than that, this pregnancy has been textbook. Everything has been progressing smoothly and normally, and I'm so thankful for that! I only pray it continues!
15 weeks!
20 weeks!
24 weeks!
28 weeks!
I have my first appointment in Barrhead (where I'll be delivering this baby) in two weeks! I can't believe it's already that time, like I said, this pregnancy is just flying by at way too fast a pace! But I try not to take this all for granted, we have been blessed twice now with no trouble conceiving naturally. I know all too well the reality of how hard it can be for some women to have their own children naturally, whether it be trouble with conception, or having to deal with pregnancy loss. God has blessed me and my hubby tremendously with two healthy pregnancies and I'll be forever thankful!
Soon, I'll get to hold this new little bundle in my arms, and I'm getting soo excited and eager! What a blessing from the Lord!

26 weeks!
Well, I am now officially 26 weeks into my second pregnancy, and I'm starting to get really excited! Not that I wasn't excited from the start, but as each week passes, I realize how soon the Big Day will actually be here, and I'm eager to start setting up the nursery!
Today I started washing some baby clothes. I'd actually completely forgotten just how small newborn clothes are! It's hard to imagine that in just a few short months I'll get to dress a new little person in these clothes. I can't wait! About a month ago we pulled out all of our baby gear (swing, infant carseat, bouncy chair, etc.) out of storage. Now it sits in my basement waiting for me to find the motivation and the energy to start cleaning everything! It was funny when we pulled out the swing, my two and a half year old daughter really wanted to sit in it and swing! I had to tell her a few times that she was now much too big to sit in there. She used to just love her swing though! She settled for just "swinging" it back and forth while Mommy and Daddy continued to pull out all the rest of the stuff.
In other news, we're potty training. So not fun on any level. I wish we were done already. We've been at this for what feels like forever, but in reality, it's only been like 6 or so months. Up until now we've just had a casual approach to it, but now I'm really getting eager to get her fully trained. I don't want to have to be buying diapers for a newborn and pull-ups for my preschooler. She turns three in June, and I really hope she's trained by her birthday. I'm also determined to have her trained so she can start preschool in the fall. It's not that she doesn't understand the concept of going on the potty, it's just that she'd really rather not. It can be super frustrating for me when she fights me every morning when I want to put her in big girl underwear. Oh well, this is just a stage, and I know she WILL one day (hopefully in the very near future) use the potty full time like everyone else. It's not like she'll walk down the aisle on her graduation day still in diapers! :D Heck, it's not like she'll be starting kindergarten still in diapers! Right now, I just have to remind myself that she'll let me know when she's really truly ready to be done with pull-ups. She's incredibly bright, advanced for her age even, if you ask me (am I biased?!?), and her vocabulary is beyond her years, so this Next Big Step will come soon. I guess this mommy will just have to be patient.
